Rain, Rain, Rain! A much needed blessing most of the time, but when you get this much and all at one time it is a blight. People’s homes and property are affected, their vehicles, their family schedules and when accompanied by destructive tornados even worse. Yes, life has its storms when the wind blows hard and water rises to unsafe levels and we wander if we will make it through. However we know the Lord says that if we have Him as our foundation then regardless of what comes our way we will stand! Furthermore wouldn’t it be great and glorious if the Lord was beseeched by the Church, His people, in such a way that we experienced the rains of His blessing and the winds of the Holy Spirit in tremendous amounts like we have seen the last three weeks? Jesus said that His will for every believer is that “rivers of living water will flow from his heart.” (John 7:38) My effectual and fervent prayer is that the Lord will flood our land with His presence, power and glory once again!!! Just the thoughts that have flooded my mind as of late!!! (Pun thoroughly intended)
